Marketing for small businesses is the theme of the “lunch and learn” BizFit workshops from noon-1p.m. Thursday, May 21 in Oyster Point Park, Newport News, VA.
The event will be held at the Financial Security Management/Liz Moore & Associates Building on the corner of Thimble Shoals Blvd and Canon Boulevard at 11801 Canon Blvd, Suite 200, Newport News. Attendees are invited to bring a bag lunch; bottled water will be provided.
Guy Manchester, ChFC® CASL®, a registered representative of Financial Security Management, Inc., in Newport News, will address “The Art of the Referral.” Gail Kent, MFA, ABC, managing director of The Buzz Factory PR and Marketing, will speak on “Word-of-Mouth Promotion on Steroids.” Erica Robertson, vice president of MMP Ventures Group, will speak on “Fat Mail is Phat.”
